Long Beach Terminal

Overview

The Long Beach terminal commenced commercial operations in February 2016 after an approximately 2 year construction period. The terminal is located at Pier D in the Port of Long Beach and is ideally positioned to serve the Los Angeles and Orange County markets in Southern California. The terminal sits on a four acre site which was secured under a long-term lease in 2010 and is the only currently permitted aggregates receiving terminal in the port. An innovative, cost effective design for ship mooring using ‘stiff legs’ supported by floating concrete caisson units enables fully loaded Panamax-class ships to deliver to the previously barge-only site.

Our Long Beach Terminal is host to a state of the art stacking and conveying system, and can be configured for over 120,000 tons of inventory. Our truck loading and scale system is capable of loading outbound trucks at a rate of over 1,000 tph, subject to customer plant availability.
