Polaris Files Preliminary Prospectus For Initial Public Offering

Vancouver, British Columbia - Polaris Minerals Corporation is pleased to announce that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada, except Quebec, in connection with its initial public offering of common shares. The underwriting syndicate is led by GMP Securities Ltd., and includes Canaccord Capital Corporation, Dundee Securities Corporation, Orion Securities Inc., TD Securities Inc., and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc.

Polaris intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for the development of the Orca Sand & Gravel Quarry, located near Port McNeill on Vancouver Island, B.C., the construction of its marine receiving terminal located in the Port of Richmond, San Francisco Bay, California, and for general working capital purposes.
